Preparation:

  • Marinate 1 pound of Chicken with 2 tablespoons of yogurt and 1 teaspoons of turmeric- This steps is optional

Cooking Instructions:

  • Mix the packet contents in a bowl with 1/3rd  cup of hot water until you get a paste-like consistency.

  • Add three tablespoons of oil to a pan in medium heat, add the paste, and cook through ( until oil separates, around 5 to 8  minutes) Stir occasionally to avoid burning and splash with water if burning occurs

  • Add 1 pound of Chicken to the cooked sauce and sauté until golden and well combined

  • Add ½ cup water or as much needed for desired consistency and let the chicken cook through 

  • Garnish with fresh cilantro and a sprinkle of ground black pepper 

Serve: Get ready to indulge in the spicy goodness of Pepper Chicken Gravy! Serve it with rice and warm Indian bread, like Naan, for a truly satisfying dining experience.

 

Preparation

Marinate chicken or paneer with yogurt, turmeric, paprika, lemon juice, and salt for 30 minutes.

Fry the marinated pieces and set aside 

 

Cooking Instructions

Mix 1/3 cup hot water with the curry mix into a paste.

Heat 2 tablespoon oil and 2 tablespoon butter in a pot. Add the paste and sauté for 8-10 minutes until the oil separates.

Add chicken or paneer and sauté for a few minutes.

Add 1/2 cup water (adjust as needed) and bring to a boil.

Optional: Add fresh cream and garnish with cilantro.
